The MS005A test bench is designed for fast and accurate diagnostics of alternators and starters for passenger and commercial vehicles. The test bench features high power, which, combined with its electronic control system, enables the diagnostics of a wide range of components. Thanks to the alternator database, the presence of an automatic diagnostic mode, and the ability to use special cables, the time spent on testing components is reduced. A distinctive feature of the MS005A test bench is its capability to diagnose 48V belt-driven starter-generators of mild hybrid vehicles.

MS005A is the optimal solution for comprehensive diagnostics of alternators and starters. The test bench combines high measurement accuracy, convenient operation, and support for modern technologies, making it an effective tool for service centers and workshops of any level.

Diagnostic capabilities:

• Alternators 12 V and 24 V with any type of connection.
• Stop-Start system alternators (12 V) – with the ability to diagnose in both alternator and starter modes.
• I-ELOOP alternators (Mazda).
• 48 V belt starter-generators controlled via CAN bus – with the ability to diagnose in both alternator and starter modes, as well as read data from the control unit using a diagnostic scanner.
• Starters up to 11 kW (12 V and 24 V) in no-load mode.
