MS008 – Test bench for starters, alternators, and voltage regulators

We are pleased to inform you that we are finalising the development of a new stand for diagnostics of alternators and starters –MS008. Its features allow the realisation of a number of useful functions previously unavailable in a single device. Despite its multitasking and versatility, the bench is easy to use and does not require special operator training.

 And now more about the functionality of «smart» stand:

• MS008 provides testing of 12/24V alternators with any terminals under 150A load (12V mode).
• Ms008 can diagnose 12/24V alternators with any terminals under 150A load (12V mode).
• The bench can diagnose 12/24V voltage regulators separately from the alternator under load.
• The device checks 12/24V starters in idle mode.
• The measured parameters are displayed in real time in the form of an oscillogram. This allows the technician to see the full picture of the unit operation and more accurately determine its condition.
• The stand provides two modes of diagnostics of generators: manual and semi-automatic;
• Based on the results of semi-automatic test it is possible to generate a report according to the customer's template and print it out.
• The availability of databases of generators and voltage regulators will save you from wasting time searching for information about the connection of the unit to the stand on the Internet.
• In addition to the stand it will be possible to purchase special diagnostic cables for specific types (models) of units, which will greatly simplify and reduce the time for connecting the unit, as well as eliminate possible errors when connecting the unit to the stand.
• Fully automatic tightening of the chain and belt of the generator drive ensures easy mounting/dismounting of the machine.
• Free and regular automatic updates of the test bench software will allow diagnosing new types of alternators in the future. For example, the possibility of testing 48V alternators of «start-stop» system, generators of «I-ELoop» system and others will be added.
• Added to the test bench is the possibility to test 48V alternators of «start-stop» system and others.

 A good car service – is not the one with a lot of equipment, but the one that meets the requirements of the time.
