Restoration of automobile units

The need for quick repair of machinery has led to the emergence of a service such as unit remanufacturing. The remanufacturing service is cost-effective because it can significantly reduce vehicle downtime. Remanufactured units and assemblies come with a warranty.

There are 2 ways to get the units that need to be rebuilt:

• Customers come to us with a breakdown in their vehicle. We carry out diagnostics and can either restore the client's unit, or supply the client with the restored unit and take away the faulty one for further restoration;
• The company buys a large batch of used units from Europe, and we restore them for further sale;

We always have a large range of remanufactured units in stock. When a unit is removed directly from the vehicle, all steps are individually agreed with the customer.

How the diagnosis and repair process takes place

Firstly, the units are diagnosed and defected. A whole range of measures is carried out to identify hidden, external or internal defects. After the inspection, an opinion is given as to what is defective and whether it can be repaired.

When restoration is not possible, the machine can become a donor, because there are still working parts in good condition. The donors are kept in stock and used in the repair.

The donors are then stored and used in the repair.

When the unit is suitable for restoration – it is disassembled, prepared for washing (various plugs are installed to prevent water and sand from getting inside during cleaning). Then repair works are carried out, spare parts are selected. In the process of repair is the replacement of rubber seals, cuffs, glands. Repair kits are also used, which include the consumables that most often fail.

After restoration, the units are checked for serviceability and suitability for further operation. The test is carried out on MSG Equipment's test benches. The units are then washed, sandblasted and painted again. The reconditioned units are stored in a warehouse.

We rebuild:

• starters and alternators;
• steering racks;
• turbochargers;
• air conditioning compressors;
• GPS and EPS pumps;
• steering racks and columns with EPS;
• brake calipers;
• shock absorbers.

The procedure of restoration of units is performed in several stages, so the quality of restored original units is as close as possible to new and better than Chinese analogues. The restoration procedure allows you to get a virtually new unit or aggregate, and at the same time, its price will be quite affordable.
