Cable for starter diagnostics

The MS-33503A cable is designed to operate together with MS016 and MS016A testers and is intended for connecting the tester to the vehicle starter for diagnostics. Starter diagnostics are performed directly on the vehicle without removing the starter or on a test bench providing starter fixation and power supply.

During diagnostics, the tester measures and records:

• voltage at starter terminals 30, 31, and 45;
• current in the terminal 30 circuit.

The obtained data are displayed on the tester screen in the form of graphs. Their analysis makes it possible to evaluate the technical condition of the starter and determine possible causes of abnormal operation.
