MS005 – test bench for starters and alternators

Let's take a closer look at the MS005's features and benefits:

• The test bench allows diagnosing 12V alternators with load up to 300A and starters in idle mode.
• The measured parameters are displayed in the form of oscillograms, allowing the technician to more accurately determine the condition of the unit and the cause of the fault.
• The stand has two modes of alternator diagnostics: manual and semi-automatic.
• The software of the test bench provides high flexibility of interface customisation: you can choose what information should be displayed on the screen and set diagnostic parameters.
• The alternator drive chain and belt are automatically tightened, ensuring easy mounting and dismounting of the unit.
• The bench is equipped with a thermal imaging camera, which allows you to accurately and in real time monitor on the screen the temperature of the unit being diagnosed.
• Based on the results of the semi-automatic test it is possible to generate a report according to the customer's template and print it out.

The stand comes with a universal cable that allows you to connect any machine. However, it will soon be possible to purchase additional cables for specific machine types, which will greatly simplify the connection process. This is especially useful if you have to diagnose many machines of the same type.

MS005 is designed with the customer in mind. The stand has a great potential for modernisation, because as new units appear on the market, the needs of car workshops change.
