Adapter for diagnostics of steering racks without control units
MS550 adapter is used jointly with the MS561 tester for diagnostics of electric power steering racks without the electronic control unit (usually in Japanese cars).

The MS550 adapter is designed to work with the MS561 PRO tester and is used for diagnosing electric power steering (EPS) systems that are controlled by an external control unit. The MS550 allows for replacing the original EPS control unit and conducting diagnostics of the system. During the diagnosis of the power steering system, the adapter provides:
- testing of the electric motor, motor position sensor, and torque sensor;
- testing of the mechanical part of the steering rack;
- real-time data output from sensors;
- torque sensor calibration.
